Tips when assembling Maxton Design's products!
Maxton's products are made around a shape created by 3D scanning the Seat Leon Cupra Sportstourer Mk3 2012-2016 . This means that the fit is incredibly good and you can almost feel how the part automatically ends up where it is intended to. The assembly will then be simple and you hardly need to know how to assemble body parts to get the correct fitment.

For most front lips, side extensions and diffusers, it comes with screw sets that either consist of screws and nuts or self-drilling screws. For wings and canards etc where screws would have been visible, the product comes with self-adhesive tape. In these cases, the tape is pre-assembled.
In each assembly kit, comes with a manual from Maxton Design where they show how to use that particular mounting kit.
We recommend supplementing the screws with 1-2 rows of double-sided tape 3M VHB tape even on front lips, side skirts and diffusers. It provides a really good connection between the body and the product and the risk of it coming off disappears completely.
